Toni Cornell, daughter of the late Chris Cornell, joined OneRepublic on Good Morning America to pay tribute to her father and Chester Bennington, who both passed away this year.
Linkin Park was originally scheduled to perform on GMA August 4th, before Bennington passed away. Instead OneRepublic volunteered to fill and celebrate the lives of the two singers. They performed Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" which Ryan Tedder said, "Chester sang this at Chris' funeral, and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years. It's a very special song to us, and I think most people and especially to Toni as well."
