There are some people who can nail famous singers, and then there's this guy. The late Layne Staley of Alice in Chains had an incredible, unique voice that is difficult to imitate... but the singer of a band named "Skorned" sounds as if Staley is literally still alive.
There are some videos on YouTube of this dude, Brendan Maier playing in his band and the songs sound like they could be weak Alice in Chains songs that were never released.
He's also rightfully in an Alice in Chains cover band called FaceLift. Wonder if Jerry Cantrell has ever listened to Brendan?
