Queens of the Stone Age appear to be ramping up for a new album.
Earlier this year, Mastodon's Troy Sanders revealed the band was releasing a new record in 2017.
Just a week ago, a teaser was released on the band's Twitter, showcasing new artwork and the words "Coming Twenty-Five."
And just a few days ago, frontman Josh Homme told news.co.au that fans should expect a new single before their Australian tour, set to kick off in July.
Homme also revealed the upcoming album would not feature any guest musicians that are a signature of most Queens albums. That means no Dave Grohl, who played drums on 2003's Songs for the Deaf and 2013's ...Like Clockwork, who was photographed with Homme in a recording studio in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Prior records have featured a treasure trove of guest musicians like Mark Lanegan, Rob Halford, Dean Ween, Billy Gibbons, Jack Black, Shirley Manson, Julian Casablancas, Trent Reznor, and Elton John.
