Tool Confirm Maynard Is Recording Vocals for New Album

Could the new Tool album be finally nearing completion?

The band confirmed on it's website that singer Maynard James Keenan is "working on vocals for some of the new Tool material."

The brief message explains the band moved a bunch of their gear out of the recording space to give Keenan the space he needs to focus.

Although some vocals have already been recorded for the yet-untitled fifth studio album, this news brings hope that the band's new material could see the light of day sooner, rather than later.

Fans of the band might know the way the band typically records music is to have the instrumentals completed before Maynard adds his vocals to the tracks. But as we stand, over a decade since Tool released 10,000 Days, we no longer know what to expect from the band.
