Incubus Announce New Album, "8" and 2017 Tour

Alternative rock giants Incubus have announced their new studio album 8, due out this Spring.

It's the band's eight studio effort, with 2011's If Not Now, When? being the most recent full-length album. Incubus released the four-song EP Trust Fall (Side A) in 2015.

The first single is a track titled "Nimble Bastard" and premiered on February 16th.

The band also announced their 2017 tour shortly after the "Nimble Bastard" premiere. Incubus will be joined by Jimmy Eat World and Judah & The Lion on July 12 at Jiffy Lube Live.

Michael Einziger, the band's guitarist, promises the new record will be unlike If Not Now, When?'s "softer" approach with a succinct message that reads, "The new album is not mellow."

In addition, Incubus will be performing at Welcome! – A Fundraising Concert for the ALCU at The Forum in Los Angeles on April 3, 2017 alongside Imagine Dragons and Mackelmore, among others.

Incubus has sold over 25 million albums worldwide, including 1999's Make Yourself (2x platinum), 2001's Morning View (3x platinum), 2004's A Crow Left of the Murder... (1x platinum) and 2006's Light Grenades (debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200).
