Getting drive-thru at a fast food place is one of the greatest conveniences in life. Pull up, tell them what you want, pay and minutes later, you're off to eat that burger / taco / chicken / whatever bad for you but who cares items that you bought.

The 23rd Annual Drive-Thru Study just came out from Intouch Insight and there's a lot to take in from it with hundreds of visits between various major fast food chains.

Some of the highlights:

Taco Bell has the fastest time from pulling in to leaving at 4 minutes and 39 seconds. KFC is 2nd with Carl's Jr. in 3rd place for total speed.

Chick-Fil-A is at the top with order accuracy. Burger King and McDonald's come in 2nd and 3rd with getting things right.

Chick-Fil-A is also in first place with food quality, followed by KFC and McDonald's.

The speed and quality are very important to me, but at the top of my list: NO ONIONS! When I order a burger without onions, please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I MEAN NO ONIONS! Rant over. NO ONIONS! Ok, now the rant is really over.

There's a lot more to see here about our favorite spots with the 23rd Annual Drive-Thru Study from Intouch Insight.
