To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the iconic golf movie Happy Gilmore starring Adam Sandler, a bunch of PGA golfers decided to gear up as Happy and try to hit drives with his iconic running swing.
The group included big names like Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and even Tiger Woods (presumably before his car accident), all wearing their own custom Boston Bruins jerseys like Happy wore when he fought Bob Barker during the pro-am.
Naturally, as the other pros failed to hit a good shot trying the Gilmore swing, Woods has no problem launching the ball straight down the middle of the target.
After the video was shared to social media, Mr. Gilmore himself Adam Sandler reacted.
"I see a bunch of green jackets but no gold ones. Cant thank u enough fellas! Love, Happy"
