There is a group of Democratic New York lawmakers are trying to ban Chick-fil-A from highway rest stops.
The group has launched a petition opposing a plan for Chick-fil-A locations at 27 rest stops along I-90.
The letter accuses the fast food chain of supporting anti-LGBTQ organizations through its charitable donations.
Chick-fil-A says it "does not have a political or social agenda, and we welcome everyone in our restaurants". The state Thruway Authority says no public money is involved in the project.
