The cause of death of Digital Underground frontman Shock G has been revealed.
According to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner, Shock G died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, alcohol, and methamphetamine.
On April 22, Shock G was found unresponsive in a Tampa hotel room after his manager became concerned about him not checking out on time.
Shock G was pronounced dead at the scene.
Digital Underground hit it big in 1989 with the Humpty Dance as well as launching the career of the legendary Tupac Shakur.
Shock G's alter ego was Humpty Dance lead rapper Humpty Hump in a dual role he played off for years as it not being him.
