Is Maryland running out of crabmeat? One popular crabcake restaurant in the Baltimore area says they can no longer serve their iconic menu item due to a shortage.
G&M Restaurant posted a message on their Facebook page on Wednesday, sharing the unfortunate message:
The East Coast is out of gas and now we're out of crab! We've run into unprecedented shortage of crab meat and are unable to ship items with crab meat. Pre-existing orders will be fulfilled and crab will be available in store while supplies lasts.
We anticipate the problem to be resolved by next Tuesday...
I was about to lose my mind until I read the last sentence. And I hope that we don't run out of crabmeat, especially as we approach Memorial Day.
