A record-breaking 4.6 million Americans were vaccinated on just one day over the weekend, according to the White House.
39 states have also now expanded vaccine eligibility to everyone 16 years and older.
But, health officials are warning about COVID "hot spots" again.
In the past week, hospitalizations in the upper Midwest surged nearly 30% and Michigan's positivity rate is the highest it has been since April of last year.
