It's been almost 50 years now since the original Woodstock happened in 1969 and there could be something happening down the road.

This August will mark the 45th anniversary but nothing is set for that, though the festival organizers are looking at the show returning in 2019. Michael Lang talked to Rolling Stone and said that they are thinking about what could be and what bands might play that show.

He went on to discuss how they couldn't officially lock in any bands right now, because who knows what groups might come along tomorrow and be big enough in 5 years to headline the show. They also don't have a location picked yet, as there are many sights they are considering currently.

Let's just hope it's more of the fun time of 1969 than the fire and hell on earth of 1999.
