April 15th is a dreaded day thanks to our friends at the IRS, but other things happened today besides panic about being audited!

Radiohead's guitarist Ed O'Brien was born today in 1968. Watch one of their early appearances as Radiohead did "High and Dry" on Jools Holland in 1995.

Patrick Carney come into the world today as well. The Black Keys drummer was welcomed to the earth in 1980. One of my favorite Black Keys videos, "Howlin' For You"!

Linda Perry was born in 1965. She's had a huge career writing songs for and with various artists including Gavin Rossdale, Cheap Trick, Christina Aguilera, and countless others. She also had a band called 4 Non Blondes and a song named "What's Up" that everyone can still sing the words to.

And we also lost a legend today, as Joey Ramone passed away in 2001. He spent many nights amazing crowds at CBGB in New York. From 1977, "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker", two weeks before Rocket to Russia was released.

Now that you've gotten your history lesson for today, go finish your taxes!
