Do you know the name Jiroemon Kimura?  He was the world's oldest person until he died in June 2013.  Sad, I know.  But he lived a long ass life... 116 years to be exact! 

 

So what's was his secret?!  Luckily for us, he shared his tips for a long and happy life.

 

  • Exercise every day
  • Eat small portions
  • Let adversity make you strong
  • Read the news every day
  • Stay close to nature
  • Have gratitude
  • Laugh often
  • Break life up into small parts

 

There you go!  Those are pretty simple... right?  Well, maybe not the exercise every day thing.  Who has time for that?
