Stone Cold Steve Austin Makes Return to Wrestling at WrestleMania 38

The one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared in front of Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 in Texas on Saturday night not only to provoke him on an ATV but to have his first full wrestling match in nearly 20 years.

The iconic shattering glass sound followed by his familiar theme song played as Owens sat in a chair in the ring. The Texas Rattlesnake then emerged on an ATV and drove it to the ring before engaging in a 20-plus minute match against Owens in a no-holds-barred match. Owens had previously trashed the state of Texas for weeks leading into WrestleMania 38.

Eventually, Stone Cold landed his signature Stunner finishing move on Owens and pinned him for the three-count and victory.

Prior to Saturday's match, the last time Steve Austin had an official match in the WWE was at WrestleMania 19 back in 2003 when he lost to The Rock. Years of injuries had taken their toll on Austin, who retired after the match.
