Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been teasing a "superstar" guest feature on their upcoming studio album Concrete and Gold that would take fans by complete surprise. In a new Rolling Stone interview, Grohl spilled the beans, revealing that the guest is none other than Justin Timberlake

Grohl described his relationship with Timberlake, saying the two hit if off after the pop star stopped by their studio. “We’d drink whiskey in the parking lot,” Grohl said. “He was really, really cool. Then the night before his last day, he says, ‘Can I sing on your record? I don’t want to push it, but – I just want to be able to tell my friends.’ ” So the band had him add some “la la la’s” to one track. “He nailed it,” Grohl says. “I’m telling you – the guy’s going somewhere.”

We're dying to hear what a Foo Fighters/Timberlake collaboration will sound like. Will the feature be on a heavier and faster track like the first record released off the new album "Run" or will we find Grohl and company taking a more soulful and pop route akin to Timberlake's music?

We're just going to have to wait until the release of Concrete and Gold on September 15th.
