Elbow's next album finally has a name. Frontman Guy Garvey recently suggested that the band's follow-up to 2011's Build a Rocket Boys! might be called either "All At Once" or "Carry Her, Carry Me."
Now he tells "Q" magazine that they've decided to title the record The Take Off and Landing of Everything. Garvey jokes that these last minute changes always seem to happen, and explains that the latest title comes from a new song he calls huge and cacophonous. Garvey adds that the moniker has to do with the fact that he and his bandmates have gone through a lot of life events, both good and bad.
Elbow's Take Off and the Landing of Everything is due out in March.
