Slayer fans now have a specific date for the public memorial celebrating the life of late guitarist Jeff Hanneman. The band announced Wednesday that the event will take place May 23rd at Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium.
It's scheduled to get under way at 3:30 p.m. PT, and will be free and open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
However, the remaining members of Slayer still haven't revealed exactly what the memorial will entail. Hanneman died of liver failure on May 2nd. He was 49.
