Researchers have found the bodies of 55 boys who were buried at a notorious state-run reform school called the "Florida School for Boys."

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the school was opened in 1900 and finally was shut down in 2011.  Over the years, the school battled numerous scandals.  There were claims that kids were locked in irons, beaten with leather straps, locked in isolation, and hog-tied.

In 2008, several men went public with their stories.  That led to over 5000 men coming forward with stories of abuse.
