Neon Trees front-man Tyler Glenn told Rolling Stone that he is gay.

Glenn, a 30-year-old Mormon from Provo, Utah, says his sexuality has been a secret since he was a child.  He tells Rolling Stone, "I've always felt like I'm an open book, and yet obviously I haven't been completely."

He discusses his religion in the interview, "We were always taught, and I hate this word, 'tolerance.'  The only time that felt different was when the Prop 8 thing came up."  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints spent $22 million fighting same-sex marriage in California back in 2008.

Neon Trees will release their third studio album, Pop Psychology, on April 22.  Their lead single from the album is Sleeping With a Friend
